Appearance of the Dancer

The dancer is a woman named Aileen-O, a virtual idol created by the Nithe Long Corporation.[1] She has pink and yellow hair in a ponytail and metallic headphones with a pink beamed eighth note and purple eighth note. She has a blue star top with a magenta outline on top and a yellow outline on the bottom. She wears a purple and pink ruffled layered skirt with light blue ends on the bottom, which is attached to a pink and yellow belt, which has music notes on both of its sides. She wears metallic light blue tights and yellow star and moon-shaped knee protectors with pink outlines. Her wedge heels are pink and yellow. Her left glove is metallic and her right glove is green and fingerless.
Background
The routine takes place in a futuristic factory in Virtualscape. The coach is in a circular platform that has many crevices, and a led floor in the middle. The crevices light up soundwaves and the led floor glows in an expanding pattern. There's many machines and tubes in the background, with 2 floating circular machines with hearts in their center in both sides of the screen, that move around in the map. There is a hologram screen in the center, that display various emoticons and digital drawings. In the chorus, square particles, going towards the screen, and separate hologram screens displaying the same drawings appear. The background colors go from mainly pink and yellow in the verses, to green in the chorus. In the bridge, the background changes to a purple void, with technological patterns, and glowing neon pink cubes. Colorful particles of squares, triangles, cubes, hearts, and circles appear.
Gold Moves
There is 1 Gold Move in this routine:
Gold Move: Raise your right arm high, kick your right leg, and bend your left leg at the knee.
Trivia
General
- Moonlight is the sixth song to mention the Just Dance series in its lyrics, after Just Dance, Nitro Bot, All You Gotta Do (Is Just Dance), If You Wanna Party, and After Party.
- Moonlight is used as the outro music for Just Dance 2026 Edition previews.
- As a result, the song is played twice in the preview gameplay, similarly to Paca Dance.
Routine
- Aileen-O, Lulu, and Levon are the second, third, and fourth coaches in the series to be named after the artist of the song, after Billie.
- However, she is the first one to be used for a Ubisoft original.
- There is a noticeable cut between 0:07 and 0:08 of the preview.
- In the YouTube Short made to promote the release of Just Dance 2026: Original Creations & Covers (Game Soundtrack), the routine is not synchronized to the song.[4]
- On December 3, 2025, Just Dance’s account posted a fictional Spotify Wrapped meme with Moonlight being the top song.
- Aileen-O was created by Nithe Long to be the ultimate virtual idol after several previous attempts failed to captivate the attention of the youths of Cyberfunk. Traces of the earlier idols supposedly exist deep within the archives of the Nithe Long Corporation.[1]
- It is also possible her origin story is related to the fact that Just Dance routines have different beta versions that are not meant to be released publicly and are always archived.
- Her origin as a virtual idol may be reflected in her name, which is reminiscent of the word "AI".
